Karen Fountaine is an experienced professional in the field of church safety and security. With twelve years in this specialized area, she has dedicated herself to ensuring the well-being of congregations and institutions.
As the Safety and Security Director, Karen led a dedicated team of 36 professionals. Her journey in this field began as a Safety Team Member, where she spent over nine years honing her risk management and emergency response skills.
As a USCCA Certified Pistol Instructor, Karen has trained over 1,000 individuals on the range, including safety team training for churches. Her commitment to safety extends beyond firearms; she is CPR/AED certified and has completed Tourniquet training, ensuring preparedness in various emergency scenarios.
Karen has successfully developed comprehensive Policy & Procedure Plans and Emergency Evacuation Plans, tailored to meet the unique needs of diverse environments. Additionally, she excels as a Logistics Coordinator, ensuring seamless operations and effective resource management.

David Doby is a retired law enforcement officer with 16 years of experience in safety, security, and crisis response. He is a certified North Carolina Firearms Instructor, USCCA Instructor, and Concealed Carry Instructor, as well as an instructor in Active Shooter Response, CPR, First Aid, and Stop the Bleed.
